Low grade chronic inflammation is a ubiquitous factor accompanying non-communicable diseases (NCDs). Despite sensitivity of our cells to physical stimuli (magnetic, electric, mechanic and optic) being well known, translation of this knowledge to medical application is still limited and extremely sectorial (orthopaedics, dermatology, bioelectronic medicine). This is a network of researchers expert in the anti-inflammatory effects of physical stimuli, at the molecular, cellular, tissutal and organism level, to create a clearer taxonomy of the existing knowledge, disseminate it and synergize around this topic to enhance its translation to medicine.
