Daniela Mansutti is Research Director at IAC-CNR.

Graduated in Applied Mathematics at Sapienza University of Rome in 1984, she won a CNR fellowship for a two-year visit at Pittsburgh University (USA) and specialized in nonlinear mathematical modelling of continuum media with K. R. Rajagopal. Since then, she has been developing her research work as a scientist at IAC, being author of over 60 peer-reviewed papers in ISI international journals, books and international conference proceedings. As a Coordinator or research unit Principal Investigator, upon national and transnational research calls, she has studied problems in several physical contexts (newtonian/non-newtonian flows, phase change processes, glaciology, ecosystems etc.) with Partial Differential Modelling, Stability Analysis and Numerical Simulation.

She is in the LSOC of IMACS2023, the 21st World Congress of IMACS, that will take place on September 11-15 2023, in Rome 'La Sapienza' University, Engineering Faculty at Via Eudossiana, 18   (topics here, call for papers here).
