Paolo Tieri has joined (Oct. 2011) the IAC - Istituto Applicazioni del Calcolo (Institute for Applied Computing) at the CNR - Consiglio Nazionale delle Ricerche (National Research Council) in Roma, Italy. He is a member of the Digital Biology Unit.

PT holds a M.Sc. in Physics and a Ph.D. in Systems Biology. He has been a research fellow at (and continues to collaborate with) the Interdept. Center ‘L. Galvani’ for Biocomplexity and in the section of Immunology at Alma Mater Università di Bologna since 2003, before joining IAC as faculty staff. PT is involved in data integration, reconstruction, quantitative modeling and analysis of cellular signaling networks of the immune system, as well as in theoretical immunology topics (see “CV and publications” for a selection of the main articles).
